SOLITAIRE
This is my version of the classic game of Solitaire. Made by myself in sycamore, the game comes with a complete set of marbles, one for each hole, and a small tray to place the marbles once removed from the board.
HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. Fill the board with marbles, leaving the centre hole vacant. You now have to take a marble, and jump over another marble into a vacant position on the board. The marble you jump over is removed from the board.
You can only jump over one marble at a time, and you can only move across, or up and down the board, not diagonally.
The aim is to remove as many marbles as you can from the board, before you reach the point where you cannot move a marble to jump over another marble. The perfect game is where you end the game with one marble on the board, located in the centre hole.
PLEASE NOTE, this game contains small marbles, therefore it is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
