CLIMB THE WALL
This is another ancient game, which I first came across at the Interceltic festival in Lorient, in Brittany.
In common with so many terrific games and puzzles, the object of this game is simple. By pulling the strings at either side of the board, you have to guide the ball around the pathway, to the top of the board and back down again to the bottom, without the ball falling through any of the holes. If the ball falls through a hole, you have to start again at the bottom. The ball is a steel ball, so please keep it away from glass surfaces, or any other fragile object.
The board can be used on the floor, or placed on a table. If the board is placed on a table or other surface, I recommend that you place some padding under the edges of the board, to prevent any damage to the surface from the bottom edge of the board.
This game has a steel ball, therefore is not suitable for young children, unless under direct supervision of a responsible adult.
This game is terrific fun, very addictive, and is ideal as a fundraiser game for your organisation, favourite charity, or simply having fun.
